On Sunday afternoon, 18/5, arrived in our town, to know our area and write relevant articles in the Swedish press, 7 Swedish journalists, by the initiative of the tourist agency, that already brings Swedish and Dutch tourists to Lesvos.
In the briefing and the guiding of the journalists, in Plomari and at the ouzo & soap museum, participated the president of Plomari Forum, who also provided suitable printed material for our area.
Local ouzo & olive oil companies as well as the Women cooperative offered samples of their products to the journalists.
The journalists left Plomari 19/5 noon for visiting other areas of our island and will return to their country on 22/5.
The impressions of the journalists were very positive and we believe that their favorable articles in the Swedish press will substantially contribute to the increase of the tourists stream from their country to our area.
